Be honest
Represent experience, credentials, availability, pricing, relationships, results, and category boundaries accurately. Do not fabricate testimonials, referrals, partnerships, certifications, or urgency.
Respect people and boundaries
Harassment, threats, intimidation, stalking, discriminatory conduct, sexual misconduct, retaliation, and degrading treatment are not acceptable. Respect a person’s decision not to meet, buy, refer, share contacts, or continue a conversation.
Protect confidentiality
Do not repeat private business, customer, personal, financial, health, legal, or security information outside its intended purpose. Ask before sharing names, contact details, documents, meeting recordings, photographs, or screenshots.
Compete professionally
Category clarity does not authorize disparagement, collusion, price coordination, customer allocation, exclusionary conduct, or interference with another business relationship. Members remain independent businesses responsible for their own decisions.
Avoid pressure and conflicts
Do not condition respect, access, leadership, or participation on purchasing from another member. Disclose interests that could reasonably affect a recommendation. Follow profession-specific rules governing gifts, commissions, endorsements, and referrals.
Use network systems responsibly
Do not scrape the directory, harvest email addresses, sell leads, send bulk unsolicited messages, bypass security controls, impersonate others, upload malware, or use network resources for unlawful purposes.
Raise concerns responsibly
Report serious safety, fraud, privacy, or conduct concerns through the organization’s published channel when available. Preserve relevant information without publicly escalating confidential allegations. Emergency or criminal concerns should be directed to the appropriate authorities.
Proportionate response
Concerns may lead to clarification, coaching, content removal, access limits, referral suspension, membership review, temporary suspension, or removal depending on severity, repetition, evidence, safety, and legal obligations.
